Coach Rod has been motivating, inspiring, and training athletes and business professionals to be the BEST version of themselves for 40 years.
After graduating from CSU Chico, where he earned MVP honors as a DB/KR for the Wildcats, he transitioned from player to performance coach for the ‘Cats. He attributes all of his successes to the coaches, teachers, and mentors who, by the grace of God, were in his life.
In 1986 he opened his training business in South Lake Tahoe. He and his beautiful wife Heidi met in 1988 and they continued to grow their business until relocating to Gardnerville Nevada in 2004 to “ranch out.”
In 2005 he met Darin Slack and has been serving young men with DSQA and NFA since. Training travels have taken Coach Rod all over the US and to Sweden, Switzerland, and Norway.
Coach Rod has coached all positions as a HS Coach and is currently the Head Football and Track Coach at Arrowhead Christian Academy in Redlands California. Coach Rod and Heidi have 2 children – Kendra and Sonny.
Coach Rod oversees most NFA western events US events. He also trains private and small groups throughout the year.
