Event Schedule
DAY 1
REGISTRATION | 5:15 PM
TRAINING SESSION #1 | 6PM TO 9PM
PHASE 1 INSTALLATION: “Learning the ‘Why” and how self-awareness leads to self-correction”.
NFA’s Installation Phase is all about detailed instruction and impacting inspiration.
This critical phase is way more than information transfer, it is about permanent transformation through building block learning supported by compelling arguments, science and biomechanics that result in accelerated understanding.
Phase 1 is about laying a critical foundation so that both athletic and personal excellence can be defined and then achieved.
DAY 2
CHECK IN | 8:45AM
TRAINING SESSION #2 | 9AM TO 12 NOON (LUNCH PROVIDED 12PM TO 12:30PM)
PHASE 2 IMPLEMENTATION: “Repetition and Review”
NFA continues to accelerate athlete self-discovery and feel by isolating the most common primary movement variables through simple drill repetition. The goal is to convert the teaching of clearly delivered installation thoughts to an informed feel using measurable feedback from the results of simple drills. This is done through drills that isolate movement with “all other things being constant” (ceteris paribus-Latin for controlling variables to determine whether a particular action is causing a failure or success of the whole).
TRAINING SESSION #3 | 12:30PM TO 4PM
PHASE 3 APPLICATION: “Act and Assess”
NFA’s small group setting with controlled, situational repetitions in live-fire scenarios and multi-tasking drills requiring discipline and awareness. These segments utilize guided self-discovery over significant teaching as the preferred coaching method. Player is engaged by the coach after each repetition to demonstrate situational awareness, grasp of assignment, and mastery of technique.
DAY 3
CHECK IN | 8:45AM
TRAINING SESSION #4 | 9AM TO 12 NOON
PHASE 4 COMPETITION AND EVALUATION: “Fire and Feedback”
Completing the full scope of learned behavior with immediate feedback, total skill integration, and game-speed performance driven outcomes. This final state represents the actual assessment phase of what level of change penetration has been achieved by the coach. It is this final phase where the measurable results are fully realized and an athlete really begins to operate with improved self-confidence.
