Unique for its individual winners and team competition from all NFA regions around the country and internationally, this competition showcases NFA-trained athletes and is open to any and all athletes eager to test themselves and displays their football skills.
Duel of the Dozens Scoring is derived from the NFA Skill Score System that every athlete attending a NFA Football Camp automatically receives.
Attend an NFA Football Camp and earn a qualifying NFA Skill Score or get a NFA Coach nomination.

Some athletes attending the camps will get Special Select Invitation which automatically qualifies them for the Saturday Night Finals Main Event and Black Shirt Program Training, while other athletes will get the standard invite to compete in the Open Duel event and NFA Celebration.
Rising 12th, 10th, 9th, 8th, 7th and 6th graders (athletes below the 6th grade may compete and will be grouped in the 6th grade group).
NFA Skillscore is a comprehensive battery of assessments that measures all aspects of an athletes ability including rapid cognition decision making, speed, strength, stamina and position specific performance. Scoring will be kept for all age groups in both a team and individual format.

FOR TEAM SCORING: the Top 12 players from each region will be grouped to form regional teams. FOR INDIVIDUAL SCORING: the top player in each age group will be named the National Champion.
